—Version History—

The following screenshots are the current and previous versions of CybershotCentral and display how much we have grown in the past 6 years.

Version 2.1 implemented our new robust Forums, and also added a restructured device driver handler. Rather than searching for drivers based on Operating System, we've now based it on the model camera.

Version 2.0 added the new look and feel, and included the dynamics of Active Server Pages. Using ASP we were able to maintain a larger collection of camera models and accessories. We added the straight to drivers link for those individuals who come to the site only to find drivers.

Version 1.1 was the next version just after launch. This version was the same as the last, but with added information regarding Linux and more models featured.

Essentially we launched the site with bare minimum content, drivers for Windows 98 and Windows 2000, and the models current to the United States at that time.
